Günsan Electric was the sponsor of the contest of graduation projects of Galatasaray University Department of Computer and Industrial Engineering this year. Graduation projects of students were evaluated both technically and scientifically by a jury consisting of the students of each department. In the contest ranking projects were awarded by Günsan Electric.

While Arda İçmez ranked first in the contest in Computer Engineering category with his ‘’Multi-Agent System-Based Browser’’ project; it was Halil Kesmez who was awarded the runner-up prize with his “Twitter Data and Forecasting Epidemics” project.

And Oğuz Eroğlu shared the 3rd prize with his “3-D Game Design with WEBGL” project with Sümeyye Konak-Fulya Turan’s “Activity Perception with Smart Watches Equipped with Sensors” project.

Among the projects of Department of Industrial Engineering students, Esin Mukul ranked first with her study titled “Recent Multiple-Criteria Approach for Selecting Marketing Strategy Based on Fuzzy Sets in Collective Decision Taking.”

While Özlem Akay was awarded with the runner-up prize with her “Decision Support System Description for Positioning Antennas to Minimize Environmental İmpact” project; Merve Güler and Cem Celebi’s joint study: “Interdisciplinary Approaches in Selection and Assessment of Technological Applications” project won the third prize.
