Günsan Electric became the 100th member of the Business World and Sustainable Development Association.

As one of Türkiye’s leading companies in the low-voltage installation equipment sector, Günsan Electric became the 100th member of the “Business World and Sustainable Development Association” (SKD Türkiye), which carries out studies in 5 focus areas within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in order to increase the awareness and impact of the business world on sustainable development.

Günsan, which recycles products and components at every possible stage through a production process shaped around the zero-waste goal, became a member of SKD Türkiye in line with its sustainability objectives. Preventing the release of plastic and metal materials from packaging or products into nature and reducing energy consumption in the plastic injection process by at least 10% with production monitoring software, Günsan will contribute to increasing the awareness of the concept of sustainable development in the business world and among the public together with SKD Türkiye. On the other hand, Günsan Electric, which stands out in the electrical and electronics sector with its female employees, continues to improve its gender balance ratio every day. With the percentage of female employees reaching 45%, the “Women Illuminating Life” Project provides training to women who want to create their own economy and trains them as master electricians. Günsan rapidly continues its efforts to expand the culture of inclusivity and to raise the level of awareness among all its stakeholders.
